Logging In

To Launch your gradebook login to PowerTeacher at: http://ps.scisdragons.net/teachers/
Then go to the gradebook link on the side

Lastly Click on the Launch Gradebook link.

Setting up your Categories

You can decide what types of assignments you will give in the gradebook. A type of assignment (test, quiz, project) in the gradebook is called a category. You can find the category section on the bottom left. You can add new categories with the + sign button, and remove categories with the - sign. Be aware that you will need to change any assignment in that category before you can remove one.

You can then decide how to weight the categories. in the Grade Setup section.

Then you can double click on the Reporting Term S1 and choose how to weight your grades with Category Weights.

To add a category to the weighting click on the add category button and check the categories you want to use.

Then you can choose how much to weight each category and drop a set number of low grades.

You can Then use the Copy button to copy the weighting to each term and to each class. However you can also weight courses different. Please weight each term in a single course the same.
